About BSS
Shanghai Baoluo Stainless Steel Tube Co., Ltd. (trademark BSS) was founded in 1989 and, over the years, has grown into a renowned producer and specialist in the field of seamless precision tubes in stainless steel, duplex, and nickel alloys.
In order to continue meeting customer demands for even more flexible, complex, and quick delivery times—as well as to comply with the most stringent environmental requirements—BSS took the next step in its development by investing in a brand-new mill equipped with state-of-the-art production and testing equipment, located in Yancheng, just five hours from the Port of Shanghai.
In this new mill, with a covered area of 75,000㎡, we drastically expanded our production range of seamless tubes. We can now supply tubes with an OD ranging from 1 to 1216 mm and WT ranging from 0.2 to 70 mm. Seamless coil tubes can be supplied with an OD range from 3.18 to 25.4 mm, WT ranging from 0.8 to 3.0 mm, and lengths of up to 1000 meters.
All seamless tubes can be offered in accordance with most international standards, including ASTM, EN, GB, and GOST.
Since the quality of a finished seamless tube depends heavily on the quality of the base material used, BSS sources exclusively from producers of high-quality base materials—whether for standard austenitic stainless-steel grades, duplex grades, or nickel-based alloys.
In addition to being ISO 9001:2015 and PED 2014/68/EU certified, BSS is approved by many leading classification societies, including ABS, LRS, DNV, BV, CCS, RINA, NK, KR, and RMRS. BSS is also NORSOK approved by DNV, and its laboratory is certified according to ISO 17025.
A new activity for BSS, also taking place at its new mill, is the production of welded pipes, using either coil or plate as base material. The size range for welded pipes varies with OD from 6 to 3000 mm and WT ranging from 0.2 to 40 mm.
For welded pipes as well, BSS offers standard austenitic steel grades, duplex grades, and nickel-based alloys. As with seamless pipes, welded pipes can also be supplied in accordance with most international norms.
